10,12-Tricosadiynoic acid is a highly specific, selective, high-affinity, and orally active inhibitor of acyl-CoA oxidase-1 (ACOX1), it enhances hepatic mitochondrial FAO via the SIRT1-AMPK pathway and PPARα activation.
