The mentioned above is mediated through serine and/or threonine phosphorylation of a range of downstream substrates. Akt3 takes part in brain development and is critical for the viability of malignant glioma cells.AKT3 Human Recombinant produced in HEK293 Cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 485 amino acids (1-479a.a) and having a molecular mass of 56.5kDa.AKT3 is fused to a 6 amino acid His-tag at C-terminus and is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

The AKT3 solution (0.25mg/mL) contains PBS (pH7.4) and 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
