AMHR2/MISRII Protein, upon ligand binding, forms a receptor complex with two type II and two type I kinases. Type II receptors activate type I receptors through phosphorylation, leading to autophosphorylation. Activated type I receptors engage SMAD transcriptional regulators, initiating downstream signaling pathways. Crucially, AMHR2/MISRII acts as a receptor for anti-Muellerian hormone, mediating cellular responses triggered by the hormone.
