Involved in cranial skeletal system development; establishment of protein localization; and midbody abscission. Acts upstream of or within mitotic cytokinesis. Located in Flemming body and centrosome. Implicated in multinucleated neurons, anhydramnios, renal dysplasia, cerebellar hypoplasia and hydranencephaly.
