Exosome complex exonuclease RRP44 or Dis3 is an enzyme that in humans is encoded by the DIS3 gene. The DIS3 gene encodes a catalytic subunit of the exosome complex, an essential RNA degradation machinery involved in multiple aspects of RNA metabolism, including RNA processing, quality control, and turnover.
