Anti-Heart Failure Agent 2 (Compound 1) is an anti-heart failure agent with anti-inflammatory activity found in processed Cornus officinalis. Anti-Heart Failure Agent 2 inhibits NO release in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells. Anti-Heart Failure Agent 2 alleviates myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury, reduces myocardial infarction size, and improves myocardial histopathological changes.
