Anti-Heart Failure Agent 3 (Compound 2) is an anti-heart failure agent with anti-inflammatory activity found in processed Cornus officinalis. Anti-Heart Failure Agent 3 inhibits NO release in LPS-induced RAW264.7 cells. Anti-Heart Failure Agent 3 alleviates myocardial ischemia-reperfusion injury, reduces myocardial infarction size, and improves myocardial histopathological changes. Anti-Heart Failure Agent 3 is promising for research of heart failure[1].
