ATF4 Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 510 amino acids (1-351 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 56.6kDa.ATF4 is fused to a 159 amino acid His-Calmodulin-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Activating transcription factor 4 (ATF4) is a member of a family of DNA-binding proteins which includes the AP-1 family of transcription factors, cAMP-response element binding proteins and CREB-like proteins. The ATF4 gene encodes a transcription factor which was initially identified as a widely expressed mammalian DNA binding protein that could bind a tax-responsive enhancer element in the LTR of HTLV-1.

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

ATF4 protein solution (0.5mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 1mM DTT and 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
