Its primary function is to act as a crucial structural scaffold, mediating proper interactions with other CD3 subunits (specifically CD3G and CD3D) . It is considered as SP34 binding site.

Its primary function is to act as a crucial structural scaffold, mediating proper interactions with other CD3 subunits (specifically CD3G and CD3D) . It is considered as SP34 binding site.

This protein carries a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus, followed by an Avi tag (Avitag™) . The protein has a calculated MW of 31.0 kDa. The protein migrates as 43-53 kDa when calibrated against Star Ribbon Pre-stained Protein Marker under reducing (R) condition (SDS-PAGE) due to glycosylation.
