Source : Escherichia Coli. BNP Recombinant Human fused with 20 amino acid His tag at N-terminus produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 129 amino acids (27-134 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 14 kDa. BNP is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Natriuretic Peptide Precursor B acts as a cardiac hormone with a variety of biological actions including natriuresis, diuresis, vasorelaxation, and inhibition of renin and aldosterone secretion. It is thought to play a key role in cardiovascular homeostasis. Helps restore the body's salt and water balance. Improves heart function.

Greater than 90.0% as determined by analysis by SDS-PAGE.
BNP 1mg/mL is formulated with 1X PBS pH-7.4, 2mM DTT, 0.1mM PMSF, 1mM EDTA and 40% glycerol.
BNP although stable 4°C for 4 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
