BocNH-PEG2-CH2COONHS is a PEG linker characterized by a terminal carboxylic acid and a Boc-protected amine. The hydrophilic PEG spacer enhances solubility in aqueous media. The terminal carboxylic acid can react with primary amine groups to form stable amide bonds in the presence of activators like EDC or HATU. The Boc group can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions to yield a free amine.
