C4a is produced during activation of both lectin and the classical pathways of complement. C4a is a non glycosylated polypeptide containing 77 amino acids. C4a is a member of the anaphylatoxin family of 3 proteins (C3a, C4a and C5a) produced by the activation of complement.Human Complement C4a produced in Human plasma having a molecular mass of 8,759 Dalton.

Complement C4-A, Acidic complement C4, C3 and PZP-like alpha-2-macroglobulin domain-containing protein 2, C4A, CO4, CPAMD2.

Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

C4a protein solution contains HEPES buffered saline, pH 7.2.

C4a Human is stable at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.Store, frozen below -20°C for longer periods of time.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
