Source : Escherichia Coli. CAB39 Recombinant Human produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 361 amino acids (1-341 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 42 kDa. The CAB39 is fused to a 20 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. CAB39 protein and STE20-related adaptor-alpha pseudo kinase, form a regulatory complex that is able of stimulating the activity of the LKB1 tumor suppressor protein kinase. CAB39 takes part as a scaffolding component of the STK11/STRAD complex and regulates STK11 activity and cellular localization.

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The CAB39 solution (0.5mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl pH-8, 1mM DTT & 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
