Store frozen product at or below -20 °C. Thawed product may be stored for 2-4 weeks at 4 °C. For optimal storage, aliquot and store at -20 °C.

This antibody detects a 36kDa protein on HeLa Cell Lysate SDS-PAGE immunoblots corresponding to the molecular weight of caspase-3. In apoptotic cells this antibody also detects 20kDa and 18kDA proteins, corresponding to the processed forms of caspase-3. Upon induction of apoptosis a weak 30kDa band may be detected in some samples. This band is not caspase-3 as it is detected in caspase-3 free MCF7 cell lysates. This antibody reacts with human, mouse, rat, bovine, canine, chicken, guinea pig, hamster, monkey, pig, rabbit, sheep, and yeast caspase-3.
