Rat
Store product at 4 degree C in the dark. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C for 12 months after receipt as an undiluted liquid. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Caution: MaxLight750 conjugates are sensitive to light. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap.
Recognizes rat CD11b. Recognizes most macrophages (including resident peritoneal and activated macrophages), kupffer cells, but only about 35% of alvoelar macrophages. Labels dendritic cells extensively, granulocytes and cells with the morphology of microglia in brain. Precipitates three polypeptides of 150, 103 and 95kDa. Inhibits complement mediated rosettes and is probably the rat equivalent of the human receptor for IC3b called CR3.
