May be stored at 4 degree C for short-term only. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 degree C. Aliquots are stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap.

Recognizes human CD14. Reacts with peripheral blood monocytes and reacts weakly with granulocytes. Negative to platelets, erythrocytes and lymphocytes. Sometimes positive for chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) and acute myeloid leukemia (AML). Negative to B-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B-CLL), T-cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (T-CLL) and common acute lymphoblastic leukemia (CALL).
