CD276/B7-H3 protein can regulate T cell-mediated immune responses and act as a protective factor for tumor cells by inhibiting natural killer-mediated cell lysis. It also functions as a neuroblastoma cell marker, plays a role in acute and chronic transplant rejection, and modulates lymphocyte activity at mucosal surfaces.
