CD57 exhibits strict acceptor specificity, recognizing nonreducing terminal sugars and their anomeric linkages. CD57 takes part in the glucuronyl transfer reaction during the biosynthesis of the carbohydrate epitope HNK-1.CD57 Human Recombinant produced in Baculovirus is a single, glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 549 amino acids (28-334aa) and having a molecular mass of 62.3kDa.CD57 is fused to a 242 amino acid hIgG-His-Tag at C-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The CD57 solution (0.25mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 7.5), 10% glycerol and 0.1M NaCl.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
