CD9 is involved in platelet activation and aggregation and also regulates paranodal junction formation. CD9 takes part in cell adhesion and migration and also promotes muscle cell fusion. CD9 is necessary for the egg-sperm fusion during mammalian fertilization.CD9 Human Recombinant produced in HEK293 Cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 93 amino acids (112-195a.a) and having a molecular mass of 10.7kDa.CD9 is fused to 6 amino acid His tag at C-Terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Greater than 90.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The CD9 solution (1mg/1ml) contains phosphate buffered saline (pH7.4) and 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
