The COPS5 protein is a possible protease subunit of the COP9 signalosome complex (CSN) and regulates the ubiquitin conjugation pathway by demethylating the cullin subunit of the SCF-type E3 ligase complex. This activity reduces Ubl ligase activity, affecting complexes such as SCF, CSA, or DDB2. COPS5 Protein, Human (Sf9, Fc) is the recombinant human-derived COPS5 protein, expressed by sf9 insect cells, with C-hFc labeled tag.
