CTSW Recombinant eiwit

Source : Escherichia Coli. CTSW Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 378 amino acids (22-376) and having a molecular mass of 42.0 kDa. CTSW is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus. CTSW protein belongs to the peptidase C1 family. CTSW is a cysteine proteinase with a detailed role in the regulation and mechanism of T-cell cytolytic activity. The encoded CTSW is linked to the membrane inside the endoplasmic reticulum of natural killer and cytotoxic T-cells. CTSW expression is up-regulated by interleukin-2.

Greater than 85% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The CTSW solution (0.5mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.4M Urea and 10% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
