Digital Colony Counter LX11CC is designed for quick and accurate counting of bacterial and mould colonies in Petri dishes. It is a tabletop counting unit with an LED white light source for accurate counting. Its compact structure makes it less space occupation and it offers a pressure sensitive touch tip pen marker for collective marking of colonies.

Used for biological procedures often relies on an accurate count of bacterial colonies and cells. Colony counters are used to estimate a liquid culture's density of microorganisms by counting individual colonies on an agar plate, slide, mini gel, or Petri dish.
