Dimethyltetrasulfide

Dimethyl tetrasulfide (1,4-Dimethyltetrasulfane) is an apoptosis inducer targeting leukemia cells. Dimethyl tetrasulfide exerts cytotoxic effects through the induction of intracellular reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and activation of caspase-3 enzyme. Dimethyl tetrasulfide is promising for research of cancers, such as leukemia[1][2].
