Dopamine-PEG-N3 can be used as a crosslinker to connect different materials together to build new composite materials and improve the performance of materials. Dopamine-PEG-N3 is a click chemistry reagent. It contains an azide group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition reaction (CuAAc) with molecules containing an alkyne group.
