Drimendiol

Drimendiol (compound 1) is an active product that can be isolated from leaves and twigs of D. winterii. Drimendiol shows inhibition for C. albicans, S. aureus, and S. epidermidis biofilm formation with 50% biofilm inhibitory concentration values (BIC50s) of 25.5, 65.1, and 67.1 µg/ml, respectively[1].
