DS 4574 is an orally active peptidoleukotriene receptor antagonist and mast cell stabilizer. DS 4574 has antiulcer, gastroprotective and antisecretory effects. DS 4574 inhibits various types of experimental asthma models. DS 4574 protects rats from endotoxin-induced intestinal injury[1][2][3].
