F9170 TFA is an amphipathic peptide with an activity of inactivate HIV-1 virions. F9170 TFA targets the conserved cytoplasmic tail of HIV-1 env and disrupts the integrity of the viral membrane. F9170 TFA is able to cross the blood-brain barrier (BBB) [1].
