Source : E.coli. FAM49B Human Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 347amino acids (1-324 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 39.1kDa. FAM49B is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. Family with Sequence Similarity 49, Member B (FAM49B) is a member of the FAM49 family. In the latest genome-wide transcriptional analysis, a gene signature was identified for multiple sclerosis (MS), which reverted back to normal during pregnancy. The reversion was mostly evident for seven genes: SOCS2, TNFAIP3, NR4A2, CXCR4, POLR2J, FAM49B, and STAG3L1, most of which are negative regulators of inflammation.

FAM49B protein solution (1mg/mL) containing 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH8.0), 10% glycerol, 0.1M NaCl and 1mM DTT.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
