In contrast to other Nectins, which are found extensively in adult tissues, Nectin4 is abundant during fetal development but declines in adult life. Its expression, however, returns specifically in lung, breast, pancreas and ovarian cancers. It was shown that Nectin4 can modulate the expression of epithelial–mesenchymal transition related proteins via the PI3K/AKT pathway. In addition, the recent study demonstrated that Nectin4 is a cancer specific TIGIT ligand, and its expression is also associated with poor prognostic features, suggesting it could be an efficient target for cancer immunotherapy.

Anti-Nectin4 is a purified monospecific recombinant antibody, which is labeled with R-Phycoerythrin (PE) . This antibody has been tested by flow cytometry for binding to Human Nectin4 on the surface of Nectin4 CHO Cell Line (High) (BPS Bioscience#78097-H) .FluoSite™is a tag-based method for site-specific conjugation of antibodies with fluorophores, ensuring the labeling site is far from the antigen-binding domain to preserve antibody functionality. This antibody recognizes human Nectin4. It has not been tested in other species.

PE is an oligomeric protein complex (270 kDa) from red algae that exhibits intensely bright red-orange fluorescence with excitation peak at 566 nm and an emission peak at 574 nm. The complex consists of six heterodimers, α subunit (18 kDa) and β-subunit (20 kDa), and an additional γ-subunit (34 kDa) .

Useful for studying expression of human Nectin4 on the cell surface by flow cytometry.
