Source: HEK293 cells.Filtered White lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder.FSTL1 protein resembles follistatin, an activin-binding protein. FSTL1 is an autoantigen associated with rheumatoid arthritis and it holds an FS section, a follistatin-like sequence having 10 conserved cysteine residues.FSTL1 Human Recombinant produced in HEK293 cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain (a.a 21-308) containing 296 amino acids including a 8 a.a C-terminal His tag. The total molecular mass is 33.8kDa (calculated) .

Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

FSTL1 filtered (0.4 μm) and lyophilized from 0.5mg/mL in phosphate buffered saline and 5 % (w/v) trehalose, pH 7.4. It is recommended to add deionized water to prepare a working stock solution of approximately 0.5mg/mL and let the lyophilized pellet dissolve completely. FSTL1 is not sterile! Please filter the product by an appropriate sterile filter before using it in the cell culture.

Store lyophilized protein at -20°C. Aliquot the product after reconstitution to avoid repeated freezing/thawing cycles. Reconstituted protein can be stored at 4°C for a limited period of time; it does not show any change after one week at 4°C.
