Geranyl isovalerate is a chemical component that can be extracted from Argyreia Nervosa. Geranyl isovalerate inhibits cancer cell proliferation in a dose-dependent and time-dependent manner. Geranyl isovalerate activates the apoptotic pathway by inducing mitochondrial membrane potential loss and ROS accumulation. Geranyl isovalerate can be used for cancer research[1].
