Furthermore, down regulation of GSTP2 induces an increase of oxidative damage in the pyramidal cells of the CA1&CA3 regions as well as in the granular layer of the dentate gyrus, which at the end leads to structural and functional damage.GSTP2 Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 210 amino acids (1-210 a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 23.5kDa. The GSTP2 is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Glutathione S-transferase P 2, Gst P2, GST YF-YF, GST class-pi, GST-piA.

Greater than 95.0% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

The GSTP2 protein solution (0.5mg/mL) contains Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.4) and 20% glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) . Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
