Source:Chinese Hamster Ovary Cells (CHO) . Physical Appearance:Sterile Filtered clear solution. Biological Activitynull HBsAg is the surface antigen of the Hepatitis-B-Virus (HBV) . The capsid of a virus has different surface proteins from the rest of the virus. The antigen is a protein that binds specifically on one of these surface proteins. It is commonly referred to as the Australian Antigen. HBsAg is an important parameter to establish a diagnosis of hepatitis B disease in the clinic and to monitor antiviral treatment. Recombinant Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Adw subtype, CHO has a Mw of 23kDa, containing 226 amino acids and was purified from CHO cell line.The Recombinant Hepatitis B Surface Antigen Adw subtype, CHO is purified by proprietary chromatographic technique.

Protein is >95% pure as determined by 12% SDS-PAGE (coomassie staining) .

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks.Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
