Heme Oxygenase 1 Antilichaam / HO-1 / HMOX1

Heme oxygenase 1, also called HMOX1 and HO-1, an essential enzyme in heme catabolism, cleaves heme to form biliverdin, which is subsequently converted to bilirubin by biliverdin reductase, and carbon monoxide, a putative neurotransmitter. HO-1 activity is induced by its substrate heme and by various nonheme substances.

This Heme Oxygenase 1 antibody is available for research use only.

After reconstitution, the Heme Oxygenase 1 antibody can be stored for up to one month at 4°C. For long-term, aliquot and store at -20°C. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.

0.5 mg/mL if reconstituted with 0.2ml sterile DI water

The stated application concentrations are suggested starting amounts. Titration of the Heme Oxygenase 1 antibody may be required due to differences in protocols and secondary/substrate sensitivity.

IHC staining of FFPE mouse liver tissue with Heme Oxygenase 1 antibody. HIER: boil tissue sections in pH8 EDTA for 20 min and allow to cool before testing.
