Aliquots are stable at -20 degree C for 12 months after receipt. Dilute required amount only prior to immediate use. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes mouse HDAC2 and does not crossreact with the related HDAC1 or HDAC3 proteins. Reactivity on Western blots was confirmed using recombinant HDAC2 protein as well as HeLa cell lysates. Species Crossreactivity: human.
