Source: Escherichia Coli.Sterile Filtered clear solution.HPGD is the essential enzyme of prostaglandin degradation. 15-PGDH protein strongly decreases the biologic activity of these molecules by catalyzing the oxidation of the 15-hydroxyl group of prostaglandins to a keto group. GDH1 is involved in numerous physiologic and cellular processes, for instance inflammation.HPD Mouse Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 416 amino acids (1-393 a.a) and having a molecular mass of 47.4kDa.HPD is fused to a 23 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

4-hydroxyphenylpyruvate dioxygenase, 4-hydroxyphenylpyruvic acid oxidase, 4HPPD, HPD, HPPDase, F Alloantigen, F protein.

Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.

HPD protein solution (0.5mg/mL) contains 10% glycerol & 20mM Tris-HCl (pH 8.0) .

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
