Source : The native protein BPI is isolated from human buffy coats and has a molecular mass of 53kDa. BPI encodes a lipopolysaccharide binding protein. BPI is related to human neutrophil granules and has bactericidal activity on gram-negative organisms.

BPI (1.15mg/mL) is supplied in 25mM Sodium Acetate pH-4.6.
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
