Humaan Sulfotransferase 2A1/SULT2A1-antilichaam

SULT2A1, also known dehydroepiandrosterone sulphotransferase, belongs to the sulfotransferase family. This protein is mainly expressed in liver and adrenal tissues, and to a lesser extent in kidney. It catalyzes the 3'-phosphoadenosine 5'-phosphosulfate-dependent sulfation of a wide variety of steroids in human liver and adrenal tissues, and is also responsible for most of the sulfation of bile acids in human liver.

The antibody has been tested by Western blot analysis and ICC/IF to assure specificity and reactivity. Since application varies, however, each investigation should be titrated by the reagent to obtain optimal results.
