Hydraulische pers op houten basis

For demonstrating the transmissibility of fluid pressure and to show how mechanical advantage may be obtained by using interconnected cylinder of different diameters. Two heavy walled glass cylinders having inner diameter 40 and 15mm.respectively, both fitted with non-return valves and pistons, with piston of smaller tube connected to a hand lever for applying effort. Safety value provided in the large piston so that pressure in excess of that which can safely be applied to the glass cylinder ebles the liquid to rise above the piston and escape through the overflow pipe at the top. Includes stopcock at the base of small cylinder for replenishing cylinders with water by means of rubber tubing from water source. Removable loading platform on top of large piston. Strongly constructed and mounted on wooden base board.
