IFN-gamma, on top of having antiviral activity, has important immunoregulatory functions, it is a potent activator of macrophages, and has antiproliferative effects on transformed cells and it can potentiate the antiviral and antitumor effects of the type I interferons.Interferon-gamma Rhesus Macaque Recombinant produced in E.Coli is a non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 142 amino acid and having a molecular mass of approximately 16.8kDa.IFNG is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Functional Assay

Greater than 97.0% as determined by: (a) Analysis by RP-HPLC. (b) Analysis by SDS-PAGE.

Lyophilized from a 0.2μm filtered concentrated solution in PBS, pH7.4.It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized Interferon-gamma Rhesus Macaque in sterile 18M Omega -cm H2O not less than 100μg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.

Lyophilized IFNG although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C. Upon reconstitution Interferon-gamma Rhesus Macaque should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C.Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
