Exhibits antiviral activity against RNA viruses including hepatitis C virus (HCV, hepatitis A virus (HAV and yellow fever virus (YFV in an exonuclease-dependent manner. May also play additional roles in the maturation of snRNAs and rRNAs, and in ribosome biogenesis.
