Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 °C. Stable for 12 months at -20 °C. Reconstitute with sterile dH2O. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Labeled with horseradish peroxidase (HRP). Sodium azide is a potent inhibitor of peroxidase and should not be added to HRP conjugates. HRP conjugates are sensitive to light.
Recognizes heavy chains on rabbit IgG and with the light chains on all rabbit immunoglobulins based on IEP. Bands are observed at 24kD and 60kD based on SDS-PAGE. Does not crossreact with non-immunoglobulin rabbit serum proteins, human IgG or mouse IgG.
