The soluble form of recombinant human IL1R1 consists of 326 amino acids after removal of the signal peptide and has a predicted molecular mass of 37.6 kDa. In SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions, it migrates with an apparent molecular mass of 51-57 kDa due to glycosylation.
