These systems demonstrated the versatility and efficacy of the DMN-LD dye for selective staining of lipid droplets (LDs) in different biological contexts. Additionally, using both single and two-photon excitation further validated the applicability of DMN-LD in diverse imaging settings. The validation of DMN-LD in these test systems emphasizes its potential utility as a valuable tool for studying LD dynamics and cellular processes.
