LTPs are found mainly in aerial plant organs such as leaves, seeds, flowers, and fruit. MALD3 is a heat-stable protein which is characterized by having resistance to pepsin hydrolysis.Recombinant Non-Specific Lipid-Transfer Protein Mal d 3 produced in SF9 is a glycosylated, polypeptide chain having a calculated molecular mass of 12kDa.MALD3 is expressed with a 6xHis tag and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

MALD3 is supplied in 20mM HEPES buffer pH-8.0, 200mM NaCl and 20% glycerol.
