Mas825 is a bispecific antibody targeting both IL-1β and IL-18, effectively modulating the inflammasome cascade in inflammatory diseases. It shows potential for treating patients with COVID-19 and systemic juvenile idiopathic arthritis (sJIA) complicated by macrophage activation syndrome (MAS) and interstitial lung disease (ILD) by reducing pro-inflammatory cytokines and neutrophil counts, thereby improving clinical outcomes.
