MSRB2 produced in E.Coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 183 amino acids (21-182a.a.) and having a molecular mass of 19.5kDa.MSRB2 is fused to a 21 amino acid His-tag at N-terminus & purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. MSRB2 is a member of the methionine sulfoxide reductases (MSRs) family which are antioxidant repair enzymes. MSRB2 protein catalyzes the decrease of free and protein-bound methionine sulfoxide to methionine. MSRB2 has a part in protecting against oxidative stress in numerous organs.

The MSRB2 protein solution (1mg/1ml) is formulated in In 20 mM Tris-HCl Buffer (pH 7.5), 1 mM DTT, 0.1 mM PMSF and 10% Glycerol.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time.Please avoid freeze thaw cycles.
