Neosartoricin D, a polyketide, is a microbial secondary metabolite. Neosartoricin D can be isolated from the cultural of Aspergillus nidulans. Neosartoricin D is an analog of Neosartoricin B. Neosartoricin B is the secondary metabolite, which can be produced by Aspergillus nidulans. Neosartoricin B may regulate immunomodulatory effects with the host during infection and colonization by pathogenic fungi[1].
