Lyophilized powder may be stored at -20 °C. Stable for 12 months at -20 °C. Reconstitute with sterile PBS, 10mg/ml BSA. Aliquot to avoid repeated freezing and thawing. Store at -20 °C. Reconstituted product is stable for 12 months at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.

Recognizes PTH (1-34) (human) and PTH (1-84) (human). The reactivity of PTH (1-84) (bovine) is 80% and PTHrp (1-35) ia less than 0.1%. Does not react to Atrial natriuretic peptide, Calcitonin (human), CGRP (human) and VIP. Specific for hPTH (1-34) and is suitable for the immunoprecipitation of hPTH (1-34) and intact hPTH.
