Lyophilized powder may be stored at 4 °C for short-term only. Stable for at least 6 months at -20 °C. Reconstitute with sterile ddH2O, aliquot and store at -20 °C. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial after thawing and prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer.
Under optimal conditions, 1mg protein A/G/L will bind approximately 5-15mg human IgG. Optimal binding of Protein A/G/L to antibodies occurs at pH 5.0 to 8.0 and can be eluted over a pH range of 2.5 to 3.0.
